Whistle

Utilising our combined knowledge acquired during more than 30 years in the industry, we have developed this elegant software solution to address communication issues and challenges associated with residential Aged Care. In designing Whistle, our main focus has been to create software that is easy to use, with innovation at our core.

We believe it is extremely important for an organisation to have an excellent understanding of the industry it chooses to serve. At Whistle we are not a hospital-centric system vendor like most healthcare vendors. Some of these vendors become well known for servicing healthcare and then search for relevance in Aged Care. They often refer colloquially to this struggle for relevance as their “Aged Care play”.

By contrast, we have made the direct choice to work in Aged Care. Whistle is our “play” and is about Aged Care only. We therefore exist to provide a superior choice for Aged Care, a choice that is long overdue.

In aged care, smart phones, tablets and computers can be very useful. They can help deliver technological assistance and capability at the point-of-care.

However, smart devices are only as “smart” as the applications that run on them and of course the vendors who design the applications to be fit-for-purpose.

There are many manufacturers of software solutions. However, no single vendor has offered a purpose-built application like Whistle for residential Aged Care. Whistle spans all nurse call systems and facilitates voice communication, nurse call management and duress alerts.

Innovation is at our core. We also know that nothing counts more than experience. Our customers have extensive working knowledge in Aged Care. These ideas when shared will lead to enhancements of Whistle.

Whistle has adopted a word to describe how we listen to our customers. That word is “directionality”.

Directionality refers to the act of directing a microphone in the right direction to gain the best signal. Our directionality is keenly focused on our customers’ feedback. Directionality signifies our desire to listen, to digest and ultimately enhance and improve Whistle.

Your feedback, combined with our ideas, leads to Whistle’s roadmap including strategic planning, product development and prioritisation. This guides the development of future versions of Whistle.
